在1920年代後期，金屬踢踏才剛被舞者開始使用而有些舞者會在鐵片與鞋子間塞ㄧ顆銅板。這銅板在這之間滾來滾去然後製造出更多的聲音。而"Jingle Tap"也就此誕生!
In the late 1920's, metal taps were just starting to be used by dancers and some would put a coin inside the tap. This rolled around and gave the impression of more sounds being made. The jingle tap was born!
