Shim sham 的原由

"Shim"這個字，原是"She"和"He"兩字的組合。對照到當時男人會在舞台上扮演女人的角色。因此Shim Sham這個名字，其實是從男扮女裝的概念產生的。

The name shim comes from the combination of the words she and him. Referring to the time when men used to perform the roles of women onstage. Therefore the Shim Sham step is named after the idea of the Crossdressing Hoax.
